Anywho.....

It has been far too long, since my last blog post.
I live in a small town area......and should be publishing something each day?
Wrong----when you have five pets---and one human one---it takes up a lot of time. lol. ((Couldn't resist that little funny at the end.

Getting back to the subject:
I want to introduce everyone to Anywho.com
Some of you may know about it already....if not, it is a great tool.
For business and for personal use.
It is a free tool that I became aware of years ago-used for business.

I sit at my desk, and since I share it with one other person...
( who would state that I am sitting at his desk-Really, who cleans it???? and that is the 9/10ths of the law, part. lol) )
I do not put addresses and correspondence anywhere near it. Why? It gets 'lost', as in thrown away or written on. Sometimes by moi'.
I was signing two cards to family members and instead of jumping up and digging through stuff
( a lot of that in a super small space) to find addresses....I used Anywho.com.
Name, City, State-----or even general area in said state.....you got it.
If you have the address and need the number----(not always current-I admit.
On White Pages----Find a Person. A tiny little bar to click-By address.
This has been fun. To reconnect.
I will try to stay on track and blog once a week or more.
I kinda, sorta, maybe, promise.

What we like!

Winter is a bluuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I have been a long time absent and apologize for the lapse. Taking care of family illness and my own health, is an all encompassing job. You will find, from time to time, me, making up new words. A bad habit of an arrogant poet. lol. And so here is a poem: I look to the east-I look to the West However, during winter--I like looking to the South best. Winter is a bluuuuuurrrrrrrr. Smiling. I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season and stayed warm and safe. Happy New Year! I want to mention the small child-whose parents, and sister, and cousin---all were killed, in a plane crash, in Kentucky. She, also was in the plane-. The family was flying back, in their privately owned small plane-from a warmer clime. Her father had taught the family, survival skills, probably for any instance, just like this one. This little lady, unstrapped herself, from an upside down situation-(belted this way)-climbed out of the plane-bloodied and beaten---to walk, in uneven terrain---almost a mile, to the first house---directed by the light. She was not dressed for the weather. Thank God, she is with family-safe now.Thank God. I agree with Al Roker-of the Today Show. Her parents spirits were with her. I will go a step further and say-so were her Angels. I am so glad she made it safely. We all know of stories, of where someone, albeit not this tiny tot, beat astounding odds. And we are grateful, because these stories give us Hope. Assure our Faith. I am glad to be back. I Sincerely wish everyone Hope-Peace and Love, as well as Prosperity, in 2015. Make it count! And God Bless, this little lady, survivor, and all of you!

Fun Stuff!!!!!

My lovely Daughter came into town for a long weekend---to assist, as Matron of Honor, a dear friend of hers, from high school. And to select dresses-etc. Out of the 4 days she was here, I got to spend almost a whole day......I have missed her so very much. So, it was a real treat for me. We went to alot of our old haunts, from the time when we lived in Loveland. A real favorite is 'Carmago Trading Company'. In Maderia, Ohio. It used to be 'Flowers of the Meadow'------which moved to Blue Hill, Maine---along with the owner. If you have not experienced this cute and awesome place---you have really missed out. Another place in Maderia is Piazza Descepoli.....wine and cheese and other yummies. But, today we are sticking, strickly to places for tings-Jen was looking for gift ideas........and I will take you along on our trip that day. We had lunch at First Watch at Harper's Point---always fun! Then on to the Kenwood Towne Center. Here: Aveda.....Papyrus....Nordstoms Cafe....Macy's....(Origins--inside Macy's)...Sephora..Thing's Remembered..Dillards-(walked thru to get to mall.......when I look at this-I realize we were very good.....lol The Kenwood Towne Centre has many-many cool shops and places to dine and shop. At Things Remembered, I got three spacers for my braclet--three little hearts---for $5...a steal. At Papyrus----you have to spend about 20-30 minutes, to see/ take it all in....fun. A card-stationery-gift shop.
