Puppy love. Kitten bears.Don't let them down.

This is the time of year that we start seeing animals around the farm.
Abandoned. Neglected. Dropped off.
It is sooooooo cold, in the early morning.
People believe that this way-dropping the animal off-someone else will take the puppy, kitten, usually pregnant cat, or dog...in and feed, house, and  care for it.
Because, if they take it to a shelter, it will be killed.
This is simply not true, depending on where you go.
What they seem to fail to  realize is:
that if you dump your pet--the person you dump it on, may not realize that it isn't a neighbors'. ( me)
The pet could be killed by traffic.
Attacked by other animals.
Thus, killed.
That my dogs are very-very territorial-and if they get loose-I fear the worse.
Also, we have coyotes that howl in a field behind us. Not good.
And I live in a very small space......with three pets, already.
I would have to take the animal to a shelter-hopefully, a no-kill shelter.
Times are very hard for everyone right now.
Pets-animals, suffer first in a bad economy---no matter what bullshit you hear to the contrary from a bias press, eager to hide flaws.
Life is far from the rosy picture they paint....far from it for many-many people.- Zoombie artificial idiots!
Winter is basically here. Cold. Frozen. Winter.
Please do not dump your pets on someone else.
Please be responsible and find a no-kill shelter or adoptive situation for them.
Open your hearts and home if you can.
We did.......to three lovely babies....and could not be happier.
Okay, when I am required to let them out at 6am-7am-8am....it gets a little tuff.
     I age daily, in the 30* temps..........brrrrrrrr.
TG they stay in-in winter---'cept for walkies.
Be responsible---and if you can't....find someone who can.
Pets are here to love.....us and we, them.
Not to  abuse......neglect......or harm.
So please. Do the right thing.
You know what that is, without someone having to tell you.
