Babee the baritone.

We have three pets.
They are a big part of our family.
Our babies....
One is a boxer.
She is so sweet.
When she first got here, she had been damn near, starved to death.
She is now a healthy and muscular dog.
She is still smaller than she should have been.
Her growth was stunted.
But not her voice.
When she barks, it is louder and deeper than a dog twice her size.
We also have a kitten, that is a little guy.
Someone just dropped him off, at the back of our building.
He has paws like a rabbit-long.
He has the attitude of a cat three times his size.
The dog that is the biggest, is the biggest baby.
I love these cool attributes of these babies.
It is wonderful.
Everyone should have the honor and joy of having pets.
Babies........big, small, loud and more.
It is a big responsibility and a big time, most days.

Sharing info can save you money.

I live and work on an... 11 acre place. It can be alot of work......I have not been on for a while. Sorry.
I moved to a very quaint area, in Nov. of 2010. and never really looked back.
One thing that most people cannot understand, is that, if you have three rescues, and one gentleman that rescued you, to care for--an outside job doesn't really work out so well.
Don't get me wrong-I love people and interacting, with same.....but..........
Forget that gas is astronomical and the nearest town is 10 miles away......
I mean I already have a job, with overtime, right here.
Just dog walking, in 22 degree weather, takes the stuffins right out of you...x 2. Whew!
However, I would love to share info that may be of a valuable nature to anyone out there reading.
Yesterday, while calling around for the best price on medicine-without insurance paying for it:
ALWAYS-ALWAYS call ahead, of going, to make sure any place, has your medicine in stock.
Sams Club-----if you join that day--takes 40% off the price of your meds!!!!!
So, you can pay $35 for a biz membership, ( you can upgrade to the premium membership level later if you want) that day, and save 40% on your  prescription, (this is  the discount).
Every other place had the medicine at  3 times this amount. Goodness!
Another place with savings....$4 meds. can be found at  Kroger------However----Warning--the price of the same med., with different dosage amounts, can be alot more.
You have to pay attention-
-------if the dosage is 1 pill at 40mg., twice a day
-------they may have the $4 savings on a 20 mg. pill
-------so you literally have to get your doctor to work with you
-------to write the script as 20mg., 4 times a day
-------versus 2 pills at 40 mg., per day.
You would know, that you would take the pills, twice a day.
This can be a bit confusing, however, the savings can be as great as $100 per prescription!!!!!
Sometimes, if you have a chronic condition and go to a web-site, for the pharmaceutical company that supplies your medicine, your doctor can write a letter that will have them supply the meds. at a substantial discount, or for free. Wow!
And, if you are prescribed medicine that is a new prescription, most companies will offer a coupon for your first fill.
And your doctor is often able to offer you a sample of the medicine, before you fill your prescription-The pharmaceutical reps. leave these with the doctor when new meds. come on the market.
At this point, it is all about savings.
With gas prices so high...to drive to the doctor, for us, is a huge expense.
Anyway, any day, we can save on high costs for anything, it is a very good thing.
I mean, unless the elves show up  ( Harry Potter) it looks like I have some serious chores to accomplish today and every day.
I won't bore you. I wish I didn't have to bore me.....hmmmmm. lol.
I will say, any helpful info sent my way is sooooooo welcome.
Happy 12-12-12.......hope you all have a great day!

Positive........we must resolve to evolve.

I was reading a post on FB by a New York Times writer and was a wittle dismayed.
He wanted us to know that the Republicans needed to change their mind warp.
I felt it was incumbent  upon me to point out that we are almost-all of American-according to the election results--divided on most all issues.
This is not a victory for anyone.
This mind warp...is a real problem.
I posted a reply and told him, that he is only half right.
That in our weakened state...we are open to serious conflict from a variety of outside forces.
That my most fervent hope was that it would not-not take another 9-11 type disaster to bring us together.
I did say a little piece about sheep.
Falling off a Cliff-fiscal-something like that.
We need to find common ground in this country.....and if that is impossible-then set some damn ground rules that are fair to everyone.
According to everyone their rights......so they do not feel they have to fight for them.
I hate the haters.
People, whose very  first inclination is to be Nasty, Stupid, or Worse.
For example-----President Obama won the election for President of the United States of America.
So why would a celebrity who supports him-write something ignorant about or to the man who lost?
After the election results were in?
Look, golf rounds aside.....vacays aside....loud parties aside...spending our tax dollars like a drunken sailor aside......I have seen the gray hair in Barack's head since he won the last election.
I really think it will be all gray when he leaves this last time.
Maybe that is it......even inside a pea-size brain like the hecklers of Mitt Romney.....they know the win is the beginning of a very difficult job.
One where so very many mistakes can cost so very many lives.
The whole weight of the world.......whew!
Being held accountable......for everything you do or don't do.
Nah----the media has prevented this from occurring. You have not seen the half of it-and probably won't.
Still, it is time we set all of the hate aside and pick up the Peace stick.
Like a scepter---that fills the chasm existing with purpose, hope, and success.
I do hope this occurs. We are on the brink of a Golden Age or a Black Cloud of Ashes.
 I choose the Golden Age.
Let's resolve to evolve. Yeah, Lets!

Frustration---the warped tool.

I was raised as a lady. I do not ever, want to be anything less.
My parents never or rarely sweared in front of us, and I doubt they did it in private, to each other.
I live, with my true love, on an 11 acre soybean farm, however, our living space is tiny-compared to what I have always been used to.
And while it is fine to have 2 people a bit cramped up---having 5, is insane.
Add three pets, and it is virtual mayhem.
Especially using your living space-well part of it, as an office for the shop-adjacent to the living space.
In comes the 3 other people who work here.
Insane or very-very frustrating.........both, at times.
I am starting to swear like a sailor-----now, I wonder why they get the blame for that????
I have never heard a sailor swear.
I do hear the people here swear alot and it is grating on the old nerves.
A guy thing........I don't think so......really has to do with the way you were raised.
And.......I am raising my voice more......this has nothing to do, I fear, with the man I love, being hard of hearing.......or me, being hard of hearing, either...........I am stressed.
I have been acting out and behaving badly------a real 'breaking bad' thing-ie.
I am ashamed and will do penance.
I  can get outside and take walks, but there are only so many times a day you can do this.
I really consider this an invasion of my home...so we have set ground rules......
In by 10am and out by 7pm..........
I admit, I still don't like it too much......but, it is the price you pay for having an on site business.
Or help with that business.
Frustration.............is a very warping tool.
I think I will watch a movie......see you later. Actually, I hope I don't.

Puppy love. Kitten bears.Don't let them down.

This is the time of year that we start seeing animals around the farm.
Abandoned. Neglected. Dropped off.
It is sooooooo cold, in the early morning.
People believe that this way-dropping the animal off-someone else will take the puppy, kitten, usually pregnant cat, or dog...in and feed, house, and  care for it.
Because, if they take it to a shelter, it will be killed.
This is simply not true, depending on where you go.
What they seem to fail to  realize is:
that if you dump your pet--the person you dump it on, may not realize that it isn't a neighbors'. ( me)
The pet could be killed by traffic.
Attacked by other animals.
Thus, killed.
That my dogs are very-very territorial-and if they get loose-I fear the worse.
Also, we have coyotes that howl in a field behind us. Not good.
And I live in a very small space......with three pets, already.
I would have to take the animal to a shelter-hopefully, a no-kill shelter.
Times are very hard for everyone right now.
Pets-animals, suffer first in a bad economy---no matter what bullshit you hear to the contrary from a bias press, eager to hide flaws.
Life is far from the rosy picture they paint....far from it for many-many people.- Zoombie artificial idiots!
Winter is basically here. Cold. Frozen. Winter.
Please do not dump your pets on someone else.
Please be responsible and find a no-kill shelter or adoptive situation for them.
Open your hearts and home if you can.
We did.......to three lovely babies....and could not be happier.
Okay, when I am required to let them out at 6am-7am-8am....it gets a little tuff.
     I age daily, in the 30* temps..........brrrrrrrr.
TG they stay in-in winter---'cept for walkies.
Be responsible---and if you can't....find someone who can.
Pets are here to love.....us and we, them.
Not to  abuse......neglect......or harm.
So please. Do the right thing.
You know what that is, without someone having to tell you.

Caramel Apple Easy.....

My Fiance and I stopped by a small farm, on our way back from a vendors show, this past weekend.
It is that time of the year where you find all of the fun Pumpkin and Apple Farms and Festivals.
I love to walk into, usually a barn-close to the road---and have all of the wonderful produce on display for the taking-after the cash has changed hands, of course. lol.
We end up taking home so much stuff----and we enjoy every bit of it.
I made Salsa with fresh tomatoes.
Slaw with fresh cabbage.
Goes on and on.
But, something I was really taken with was  the little Caramel Apple bar.
They sliced up a green apple-covered it in caramel and then added nuts.
Anyone who has tried to bite into a Caramel Apple, has had it all over their face.
It can be so messy----but delicious......very.
Here you use a fork or spoon.
Novel concept I know-varies from the stick routine.
But you get every bite........without wearing any of it.
Gotta like it-alot. We did!!!

Veggie Soup.....

I have to admit that I have hit upon a recipe for Vegetable soup that is awesome........something I do not have occur  so very often, with any recipe.
So here goes:

1 ) box Swanson Chicken Broth
2) cups water
1)  bag each -(I use Kroger brand at $1.00 a bag)---frozen:
Corn
Green Beans
Peas
I) can of diced tomatoes-a large one.
2) fresh carrots----sliced
2) stalks (from the inside of the stalk) of celery-diced.
3) small potatoes-cut into small cubes.
1) med. size English Roast-cut into cubes
2) cloves of  fresh garlic-diced
Salt and pepper
A large sprinkle of dried onion.
I put the whole thing in a large pot--------bring to a boil and then put on simmer for the rest of the day.
Or put it into a crock pot-just let it cook.
It is even better the next day---or.....if there is a whole lot left over ( just two-sometimes three of us) freeze it in individual containers to re-warm later in the week.
So easy to make.........
Enjoy!

Good Health.

We all want to achieve good health and definitely maintain it.
How can we insure we are doing the utmost to do so?
Food. Moderation and variety is key.
Vitamins.--not real damn difficult to determine------Brands---some very good ones out there.
Exercise.-You can join a gym--not necessary--start with walking.
Fluids.-Water-Green Tea-Juice ( lower the sugar level the better)
Rest.-This is different for everyone-recommended is 8 hours a night. Starting at 10pm--this is the supposed time your body regenerates itself...some health gurus actually take a vitamin shake before bed, to aid this process. A vitamin nightcap.
They all play a huge part in our overall health.
So does good mental health.---Read-listen to music-paint-sing-watch movies that make you laugh. ( unlimited ways to mentally relax) Really anything that makes you happy.
I will add a daily Probiotic.
When any of these get out of whack----we have the potential to become ill.
Skipping meals.---a big fat NO!
Burning the candle at both ends.-Just don't do it.
Not getting enough nourishment or fluids.-Try to stick to a routine.
Stress is a killer.---try to break out of bad habit patterns.
When sick:
The first thing any doctor you see, will do, is prescribe meds.......pharmaceuticals..
This is a poor response, albeit, at times absolutely necessary.
I like and think highly of Holistic medicine. The Holistic approach.
This has become a very amazing alternative to traditional medicine.
Most herbal remedies do not have the horrible side effects that traditional medicine does.
Alot of people are afraid to try anything different , because they have a life threatening illness----even if the medicine is making them sick.
I heard recently that the Chemo treatment a lady took gave her a heart attack and she died. Young.
This is a tragedy that should not happen.
A company that can help keep you healthy:
Shaklee.....has been supplying vitamins to people for over 50 years.
 Excellent skin care products also.
Stay healthy if you can...even if you start late in life......it is a very good thing.

The worse neighbor a girl can have.........

I live in the country.
There was a time that all country folk stuck together...through thick and thin.
Not so, in our little corner of the world.
We live in a wonderful spot-out in the wide open-beautiful clear blue skies-green fields-it really is a beautiful place.
And it should be just Heaven---until the guy behind us showed up.
What a whack-job!
AWOL for 5-6 years and then shows up out of the blue----causing an issue his first day back.
We have talked to our Sheriff's department about him twice.
Every time we encounter him-he tries his level best to cause a problem-doesn't matter what--just attention seeking nonsense.
He lies.
He calls names.
He tries to be a nasty bully.
We refuse to speak to him. Which is very very wise.
Let the officials do the heavy lifting with this nutter.
The problem is, he just will not stay away.
What is the matter with people like this?
Bad childhood? He is grossly overweight. A real fatty.
So am I, but I am not mean??????? Or a name-caller-or a blatant liar---or nutty?
People might disagree with that.the last part......certain people...lol.
Maybe he was not loved as a toddler?
He is not loved at all by his new neighbors.
Psychology usually explains it all.
So what to do? We have all seen the videos of crazy neighbors.
We just got some really stellar advice from the Sheriff's office, and we will follow it.
And we are documenting everything.
Very very sad occurrence.
Still, Karma will out. Always does.
Be a good neighbor.......build good Karma........we all need it.

The Farmers Almanac.......Boo!

Today-----I go outside at 7am, to take Mr. Puppy,  for his constitutional, and I look up into the sky-----and see a full moon.
Yesterday------I went outside at 7:30am, to take same Mr. Puppy, for his constitutional, and I look up into the sky ( checking for rain clouds) -------and see a full moon.
What is going on?
I just related this to a neighbor, who is visiting and he says----"well, you know, 2012 and all that'.
We chuckled......nervously.
Living in the country---like we do---- Quite lovely, a great deal of the time---I thought it was appropriate to buy a Farmer's Almanac........and the heck of it is....how the heck do you read the darn thing?
I did see that it was going to be below average temps. in Jan. and Feb........that is the down side to Ohio........it can seem like a bleak place when it snows and is soooooo cold.
Attitude is everything.
Think if I had cross country skiing on our 11 acres....using the two muscular dogs ( our babies) instead of me walking them, twice a day each, in blizzard like  conditions, for the  most of Jan.
 Mush!!!!!!
Guess what they would say to Mommie?????? erhmmmie.
I go to LL Bean and other outfitters and shop for ski clothing------never getting cold----would be awesome.
We have bonfires and sing-alongs-and ice fishing.........lololololololol
Hot toddy parties and extra Christmases'.........
Okay-Okay.
Back to the full Moon in daylight.
What is going on??
Nothing I can find in the old Almanac. Or perhaps it's there and I don't know where to look.
Maybe there is something about the Mayan thing-ie for 2012.
Look how silly it has made me.

Lost! Culprit: Newtonsville Post Office.

Most people would say---first up-where do they come up with these names for towns?
Reminds me of the show-Petticoat Junction.
I moved to the country-still in the state ( lol) with my boyfriend and this is one of the post office locations, I have used......... the last time with disastrous results.
I had collected, over a three month period, items, that I thought my daughter would enjoy receiving.
Some unique-some quite expensive-some inexpensive....and some  priceless.
We, my intended and I, have been working such long periods without any time off, that I would see something, at vendor shows, or everyday shopping, or purposely shopping and would say, oooohhhh, "Jen would like that".
I had saved some items, that  we had bought together, during our trip to Salem, when I visited her in Boston, and those too, went into the box.
My daughter and her delightful husband have moved-out of the state---and I miss them very much.
Fall is a special time of the year.
For many of us.
It is actually when my only child was born.
Probably, all of us have walked into the post office-insured a large package-sent it priority mail------I didn't get a tracking number or return receipt.
Reason...... the employee that I encountered was so flustered trying to find the correct label for insuring my box, that I, by the time she actually found it-and rang me up---I just wanted to be on my way.
 I mean I had my receipt-right?
The gift, I put so much effort into----is lost.
I had included vintage clothing from the 1980's on top-inside the box-to buffer the stuff inside---not replaceable----I will never be back in that place or time.
The items cannot be valued.
I am told that in 21 days, from the day mailed,  I can file an insurance claim on my lost package.
And that in 1 business day, an individual from the US Post Office will be in touch with me, regarding my lost package.
I am quite pissed. Aggravation does not quite cover what I feel.
I will not be mailing anything again, anytime soon---of any value.
I feel, after this experience---a trip would be in order..........cheaper...after this is all said and done, (even considering gas prices or airline ticket prices)-even one, 'out of state'.
My advice----always!!!!!!!-no matter how slow the postal employee is or how confused they seem-----Get that tracking number!!!!!!!!
Your package may still get lost.
Or....maybe wait a day or so and make a trip to a post office you have used successfully before.
We all hate to say: 'Well you are having so much difficulty---please let me have that package back'. I will take all the stickers off it myself.
Jeez.

Annual Pooch Plunge......

I just got on Facebook, a little while ago and saw something that made me smile---I was ever so happy.
My Grandson, was in the newspaper.
Yep, he is a Golden Retriever.....and not to brag, but, he is  oh so Handsome!
The kids got married this Summer and have moved to Missouri----and are finding things to do to meet new people, with similar interests, etc.
This was so adorable. A people and Pooch Pool party.
A really good way to meet people, from all walks of life and for business, is Meet-up.com.
There are some other really neat organizations that are set-up just for the purpose of helping you acclimate to your new town.
The area Chamber of Commerce, is a good place to start.
If the place has a Visitor's Bureau.....ditto.
I call both of these places when I intend to travel anywhere new or that I haven't been in a while and get the lowdown on where is good to stay.....etc.
It just requires striking up a conversation with the person who answers the phone to sometimes get the best answers to your questions.
I will be visiting soon---to see my sweet Pooch-boy---and his Parents and a sweet Titten-bear, also.
Can't imagine the reaction when the plunge includes human Grand kids----but I think the feeling will probably be much the same.
I love ANIMALS and respect them. I believe they truly become our Children/Grandchildren.
People who do not recognize this fact are sooooo missing out.

I want my own casino..........pow-now......

I am, according to the Ole' family tree-----1/8th Native American Indian.
Sioux-----it is supposed.
I am thinking of having a DNA test to validate my birthright.......said casino.
I should have gone to College-on the Federal Government's dime------supposedly possible at 1/16th lineage.
Never entered my bean.
I just need to find some land----check.
Have it registered as Indian land.....to do.
I read the Wikipedia on Indian Casinos.
I believe with a bit of thought- and creativity, I qualify........as do all of my sibs.
We have enough for a tribe. Add the Grand kids---maybe 2.
Would be cool.........maybe.
hmmmmmmmm. I want my own casino. Don't we all?

The Black Dog.......

This post is not about animals.
My fiance' has some really interesting--what I call----"Southern-isms".....I love them.
It is like learning a whole new language.
This morning he was in a bit of a pre-coffee fog-(we have all been there).
I asked him how he was feeling.
He said-"I am trying to dispel the Black Dog".........no kidding.
Other wild thinks he says------"it was all for naught". ((Who talks like that?
Now, when I read British Mystery Novels-my faves. by the by----I can go on for the next two days with a distinctly British accent and using VERY-VERY English terminology.
As in:
A bar is a pub-----a flashlight is a torch----I go to the loo---to potty--------yep, I swear.
It is different when you are Southern.
I had never heard of Chicory Coffee. Maybe chicory in coffee. We now drink this concoction in the cooler months of the year. You have to special order it......not for sale here in Ohio.
A varmint rifle----dispatches well, varmints, to the great beyond. (I laughed alot).
He says own for on.........we were driving own the tarmac.
I have a friend, who is exploring the different phrases people use----and how they "came about" or "into being".
Very possibly by region.
According to the Sneaky Pie Brown books.......'Breaking Bad' is what folks do when they misbehave......in Virginia.....her-Rita Mae Brown--books-detail alot of charming Southern terms and mannerisms. Worth a read.
So FYI------the Black Dog is gone......for now, replaced by coffee and laughter.

Fall is around the corner.

Summer is a time of fun in the sun----except, if you hate to be sweaty and hot....that is me.
Weird, 'cause I love the beach.....?
So, I love and look forward to Fall.
Fall means festivals and pumpkins, apple everything and Halloween and cooler temps.
And it is the precursor to Christmas.
I also love to go to visit the mountains:
-----Gatlinburg or even North Carolina----the Biltmore Estate......
or Salem, Ma. or even Brown County, Indiana---used to be called Nashville, Indiana.
If you have not experienced all of  this----well, you should.
And right here in Ohio-the parks are beautiful.
Sharon Woods Village. Ault Park. French Park------all part of the Hamilton County Park systems in Ohio.
Everyone has been to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. In Fall it is so crisp and clear near the mountains or up in the mountains......love this.
The Biltmore Estate has expanded so much since I was there 27 years ago ( there was only 2 hotels and maybe three restaurants surrounding the estate---now many-many to chose from)
Now they also  have a hotel to stay at on the estate, as well as the Winery, restaurant, and Gift shop.....add unbelievable art and architecture....and what a great experience.
Brown County, Indiana is usually a really good experience as well.
It is close to Cincinnati and the suburbs thereof---and usually has an event going on when you get there......shops and food and fun!
Festivals abound here in Ohio----at our parks and surrounding counties.......go online and check them out.
Sharon Woods Village is haunted every weekend in October. lol.
Lebanon, Ohio has a really great Fall festival. The Golden Lamb restaurant is also a wonderful place to visit.
We also have a lot of Apple Farms action-----festivals.....worth a visit.
As for Salem, Ma.----- Going at least two weeks prior to Halloween is advisable----unless you have great patience parking and walking a good distance---and you love crowds------it gets really crowded.
One little piece of advice----stay overnight and spend the whole day----you will need it to see everything this amazing place has to offer.
Try the Lobster Shanty-------a Lobster-tini...yum!
Check all of these out online----or in your local paper-Cincinnati Enquirer or Post. ( here in Ohio)
As for out of town places---word of mouth, is a great place to start, for the best places to stay and dine.
Start planning now and by Fall you will have it all mapped out and be set to go.
Have fun!
Popcorn Balls-Sweet Water Taffy-Carmel Apples-Homemade Fudge.......Boston Creme Pie----Chowder........to name a few of my favorites.
Enjoy!

Free Stuff......and good food.

We all love free stuff......it rates right up there with chocolate recipes.....for me.Or free chocolate.lol.
I went into Whole Foods in Deerfield Township and saw a bag that said.....Samples.
I am allergic to alot of things......even so, most stores will not give samples.
They tell you to purchase the item, if you are allergic---then bring it back for a full refund.
I don't know about you---however,  I wish I were that organized, to find an old receipt. RIGHT...or the box the product came in....Bigger,  RIGHTO!
So, I found out by asking, that Whole Foods will allow you to sample a free, full-sized product. Shampoo-Lotion-Supplement...is Awesome.
Makes me like them more---if, that is possible.
Also, I found out that they have a Friday afternoon wine and appetizer offering. 5 wines and 5 appetizers.....as you stroll thru the store. 5 for $5-no kidding.
Not to make this all about Whole Foods, however, they do have great stuff.
Blueberries, Blackberries ( and I will say-after hand-picking some of the most amazing Blackberries-really large size ones that tasted superbly sweet at a farm)--these are as delectable as the ones at the farm), and just wonderful.
So, have fun with it----and pick up a copy of the magazine about local growers-who supply this store----while you are there.....supporting the community---is a very good thing.
p.s. some of my favorites:
Lavender hand wipes (in the front of the store-----(by carts, as you come in----and for sale in detergent soap aisle).
Fresh cheeses---a huge selection----(by wine bar)
Beer and wine bar----(back of store-left)
Fresh baked cookies----chocolate walnut----(bread aisle)
Incredible chicken salad--yellow fin tuna salad---fresh grilled asparagus ( from deli case)
Brazil nuts----in bulk------
Fresh Guacamole dip---(in produce aisle)......
Brown Cow yogurt-----------(diary-back wall of store)
Martinelli apple juice-----in adorable small and large glass containers--------( all the way over to the left-down from yummy bakery items-----in corner of dairy case-top shelf---a cold little jar---or in juice aisle for large one)
Too-too many items--to mention---- in the soaps/lotions/vitamins---goes on forever-------aisle.....front of the store.
Can you tell I shop here alot? lol.
Check it out.....see if you too get hooked.

Summer Fun Foods

Let's face it-----Summer is so miserably hot at times---we just long to cool off.
Part of that includes what we eat....
I just made the most scrumptious salsa which I want to share-along with some other recipes.
I was at a picnic and this was so refreshing......and easy to make:
I used:
6 small to medium size tomatoes ( on the vine-don't ask me why-but they just hold their firmness better and were beautiful)-Kroger.
2 avocados-(organic hold up better).
I small red onion
1 clove of garlic
1 lime
salt and pepper to taste.
Chop up the garlic and red onion-place in bowl.
Cut up the tomatoes and avocados and add to garlic and onion.
Add fresh squeezed lime, salt and pepper.....
Mix it all up-----chill for 1 hour......add chips and YUM!

I also love simple pasta salad:
I think we all have our own version of this easy staple.

Cook an  entire box of rotini pasta-I like the Bertolli brand. (8 mins.)
Rinse with cool water and place in fridge to cool.
Chop up 2 med. size tomatoes.
Thaw a package-small-of frozen broccoli.
Mix all together and add:
Ranch dressing to half and Italian dressing to half.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
Sprinkle with a package of cheese ( your choice) before serving.
(You can also add cooked-baked-chicken, if you like).

Another choice for pasta:
Angel hair pasta--takes 4 minutes....to cook. Put some olive oil in water while pasta cooks. ( 1 teaspoon)
Use a jar of white sauce.( same shelf as spaghetti sauce) ( Alfredo)
Add a pound of cooked shrimp.
Fold shrimp and sauce in after draining the pasta.
If shrimp is frozen-throw in the last two minutes, with the cooking pasta. Drain together.
Add mushrooms or if the white sauce has mushrooms---add broccoli ( frozen, as you cook the pasta)
Sprinkle with nicely fresh ground pepper.
Is good!

I got this one from Arthur's, when I worked downtown.

Cook a box of long or short pasta. (Some are as fast and easy as 8 minutes).
Use ranch dressing ( like a sauce)-fold into cooked pasta.
Add sliced avocado.
Sprinkle with crumbled bacon bits.....ie: fry the bacon crisp and then crumble over the pasta dish.
This is delicious alone or you could add cooked/baked chicken to this dish also.

I like to sprinkle hot pepper flakes over the dish-after cooked. Adds a nice spice to it.
You can add Crescent rolls-Pillsbury---fast and easy in dairy case with biscuits----I like to fold in a square of pepper cheese-before I bake them. Delicious.

Where all of the recipes call for cheese---try different ones-fun and delicious.
These are just a couple of easy dishes to make for dinner.
Fresh fruits--- cut up-add cool whip or vanilla ice cream or yogurt and you have a wonderfully easy desert.
Bon appetite!

Conceal Carry in Ohio......

I have been thinking that it is time to get myself to a class for Conceal Carry.
After seeing all the crazy stuff that goes on.....I have come to the conclusion..that being armed versus helpless...is preferable.
One thing I know, is that there are alot-alot of laws governing this issue and they need to be observed.
I know there are many people who scream "gun control".
The plain fact is:
The police are so scarce on the ground-due to budget cuts, that they arrive after the fact.
The criminal element are not going to observe these gun control laws.
Where does that leave us?
Any thing as serious as carrying a firearm---should require training........it puts a great responsibility on the shoulders of the person with the gun-legally holding the gun.
It also evens the odds when someone is trying to harm you----and they have a gun.
You have to be able to effectively use the weapon to protect yourself.
TRAINING..........being OBSERVANT......and very very responsible.
Very difficult decision........but very necessary for our current climate of criminals and violence.

Brain scan or Faith!

I was in the manufacturing plant-that is attached to the home-that I share with my Fiance', the other morning---walking to the laundry room, and saw the most amazing sight. ( more below)
He has a really cool space.
However, said Fiance', has asserted, that since he moved in, ( he built the place about 10 years ago) he has heard a low 'humming' sound, in the shop part, of the building.
I, being a little receptive to these things---have seen lights-shapes-etc. A wittle more.....and then some.
To the point of praying and announcing that I claim this space....blah-blah-blah...
I feel certain that we would qualify for a Ghost busting program.....maybe.
So,  I am walking thru to the living space---and out of the corner of my vision---there.....big as life-okay bigger-much bigger---a swish and a wing---with a skirt-slatted like the gladiators wore-----in a dusty black color.....this Angel---was huge!!!!!!!
No ,I do not do recreational drugs and No, I do not drink at 9am.....and no, as far as I know---I am not going crazy......or hallucinating.......I feel instead blessed........but then:
I realized that this being was black---okay,dusty black--but black......was he here for me?????
I believe he was and I was meant to see him.
Well, a small part of his majestic being.
It was the feeling I had, after, he was out of my line of vision---that I got.
A very humble feeling.........and warmth.
But, also a feeling of strength...
I have been way too stressed of late.
This was a nice thoughtful feeling.....realizing,what I had seen......and yes, believing.
I do believe in Angels and welcome them into my life....and am so grateful for them.
I have faith in them.
God bless them and I actually love that they are here with us.
We do not have to 'go it alone'......Thank You, God!
 And, Thank you! Wonderful Angels.

Stressing stuff.......Where are the Keys?????

Yesterday I went to Mt. Orab, a town about 10 miles from us, to run various errands.
I live in the country-a rural area-that has a lovely view and perfect silence at night, but is a bit isolated.
I believe in the winter-time you can hear the snow fall. It is lovely.......the skyline is breath-taking.
So, I am in Mt. Orab-go to the Library-Post Office-Dry Cleaner----and then to the Grocery, and took my time.....it was dark when I come outside to my car with the groceries.
I go out to the car and unlock the door, and  start unloading  the groceries and....then...... I  sling the keys in my hand, into a large bag, that I had used for the books and movies I had gotten at the library.
It is dark by now......even with a flashlight and the interior light from the car-I cannot find the keys.
The two young men-gathering carts---come over to help---going for a cart and xtra  grocery bags---to unload each bag and see if the keys are inside.
No luck....Frustration is building.....building.....building......
I call my fiance' who is waiting for me to get home......and he states that our business partner has left already.
So I call said biz partner-and he is 1/2 hour away. So he sets out to come and take me, to get the extra key at home, and I go through the movie/book bag again---AND....there they are.
It was the most stressing evening---I have had in a while.....I was so aggravated.
It was nice to have help and it was good not to have all of my perishable food destroyed by the heat.
But, I realized----I was at a near panic when it was all said and done.
I knew-having opened the door with the keys---that they had to be there somewhere-in a car with tons of stuff in it..........it was nerve racking......so why couldn't I calm down and just find them?????
It is called stress. And exhaustion.......it can zap you......if you let it.
Needless to say---the drive home was in relief----total relief.

Summer is on! Bummer?

We will rise above the 90* mark this week and I have to say-I detest it.
I am grateful when the temperatures start to lower for Fall-a real favorite of mine.
Sorry, Summer.
The weather makes me tired.......as in, for real...it takes the stuffin's out of me.
No, I am not a scarecrow.
All the same, I feel weak, when it is miserably hot and I have to be out in the high temperatures too long.
Even hydrating----there is only so many summer drinks, that we can drink.......before feeling like a float.
What is worse, is running in and out-as in heat-air conditioning-back and forth.
Then I feel sick.
Maybe I do not belong in Ohio, over the Summer? A real bummer.
Perhaps, I should just head out to Prince Edward Island?????
This was an Island mentioned in 'Avonlea'-a sweet childhood drama-based on a little girl-coming to visit her relatives, under dire circumstances, and then staying on the island with her aunts.
I feel that there is alot we can do to make Summer more tolerable-indeed enjoyable.
Utilizing the correct tools-----for example-we have absolutely no-I mean, as in NONE-shade.
Not a tree in sight, where I live.
So, a canopy of some kind, is called for.
Kroger and Wally World ( Walmart) both have very nice ones.
A swiming pool, would be nice.
Treating myself to The Beach Waterpark-Coney Island-Kings Island.....a start.
Then add, perhaps: Ault Park-Sharon Woods.....................picnics and cook-outs.
Florida..........lol.
Most people would say: why go to Florida in Summer---why, the light breeze and ocean.....and we don't want to miss hurricane season, of course. lol.
Heading North and by the ocean, is the way to go.......and I will.
Stay safe and enjoy Summer.......remembering  that Fall is on the way.

Photography-----101.Or just be nice.

I am someone, who, unless camera-ready, will hide out when a photog-professional or amateur....tries to zoom in and take a photograph.
Can't do this when you aren't aware of this occurring.....kinda sneaky....I even admonish relatives with, "Zoom out, darn it".
Bless Kodak and the list goes on......anyone with a few bucks is now a professional photographer.
What we cannot do---is recall that moment when we are not ready and the zoom lens has gotten us.
I attended with pleasure, my lovely Daughter's wedding recently and knew this was going to be an issue.
I was not quite prepared for some of the God-awful photos taken of me, or others? I mean, there is a lovely Aunt of the groom-the lady is quite pretty in person---and there are photos of her dancing---that look distorted?????? Strange.
And, of course, they are center stage on Facebook, Great!
I used to be so photogenic. Haha.
50 Pounds lighter ago. Sure.
It does inspire one to take matters in their own hands and have a professional take a picture and post it on Facebook-etc.
So, I was sitting there feeling really silly, looking at the horridly awful ( in one I had my mouth hanging open-looked drunk----I mean I should have at least been drunk-if I'm gonna look it, dammit) photos----and then:
My WONDERFUL Fiance' loaded his photos of the wedding and voila!.
Guess what photo resides on my wall page?????on Facebook.
Oh, I love that man of mine. Brilliant with a camera. Smiles. He is really good at it.
We will be going for a family holiday photo and I will be posting the results.....after I have lost 50 pounds. ( the camera adds 15?) lololololol.
Look for it. Serious.
In the meantime---if you zoom-edit........please.

Be Still My Head! My Heart is Bleeding.....

We are in the throes of Political Mania---once again the election year for is upon us......breathing down our throats.
We have all the pundits and "entertainers"  taking their shots.....and making enemies, as they go.
It used to be that if a fair playing field was given-----people were actual journalists and reported as accurately as possible-the news. They were invited into the inner circle to work.
Not so, now------media has been bought and paid for, by a small group of wealthy people.
Now- we have a mix of entertainers and actors-actresses being moronic and stating any outrageous thing that will bring attention to their cause?????What in the hell might that be? Ratings!!!!!!!!
Where have all the true journalists gone?????
Case in point:
Andrea Mitchell-Alan Greenspan's( Past Fed.) wife---an elitist couple, if ever there were one----now has a show-in which she tried to slam Mitt Romney for  talking about a sandwich machine.......
Her inference was that he wasn't used to having any contact with lowly, human normal things.....
She essentially pissed off the company and is now having to apologize for taking something out of context to serve her diabolical-political purpose.
What a hypocrite.....this woman has probably rarely if ever stepped off her lofty cloud ( limos-nice homes-(plural?)-dinners-etc. ad naseum) to interact with anyone with a salary below a cool million.
Just guessing.
So, point being----what the hell is the average person suppose to do to get accurate news?
Or have we become such consumers of bullshit , that that is all we can relate to?
I personally hate the nasty-vicious-corrupt mean spirited mud-slinging that has become the norm for Presidential Election coverage. HATE IT!
How About you?

Friendships that last a lifetime.

I am fortunate in my friends. Actually, I am very lucky.
I have a group of friends that most people would love to have.
They bring another whole lovely and warm aspect to my life-making it full and fun and interesting.
True friends are those that are there in thick and thin, and while you may not see them everyday,  you can pick up where you left off, as soon as you see each other.
I am like that with my siblings, also.
They too, are my friends.
I am drawn to people with a tremendous sense of humor. Love it. The quirky-er the better.
I like moments when you are on the same wave length and get the joke at the same time.....the group.
All of my friends have not met each other.
We do live in the same area-for the most part-and I am thinking I should remedy that-throw a great  big get-together. Soon.
 A party is always fun.
I don't think you can have too many friends.......just can't.
I hope I am considered a good friend, to my friends.......is important.
Because, that is the way I feel about all of them.
If you have not talked to or interacted with your friends and you are missing them-to talk to, etc.:
Pick up the phone...or Facebook or email them!
Life is too short........just do it!
You will be glad you did.
I was.

Surveys......enuff is enuff.

I get, on average----even filtered through spam--probably 20-30 survey offers-online--in my email-inbox--per day.......As a matter of fact-I spent like 20 minutes cleaning out  this email each day.
I have additionally over 2,000 spam emails.....that go directly into the trash...eventually.
I had signed up to do a fun survey--which took me through 20 more sign-ups and that opened the door to a Pandora's Box of horrific proportions.
There is one really cool survey panel I use.
No pay-each survey you are sent and take-gains you points in a place called Sweepland. It is very fun.
I have been with them for a while-several months-and have not won anything yet?????
They have alot of participants. Might be a reasonable explanation of nada for the time put in????
It is NPDOR.com
I love at the end-after you have completed the survey and you get to click and see how many extra points or money, etc......you can win. (It has always been extra points).
Not sure, how much longer I will do this one? It would be nice to win.......something?
I think my take is that these are a waste of time. And I admit maybe I haven't been on to the good ones?????
Most of the ones I have tried---have simply created a ton of trash-ready emails in my inbox.
So, no more, I think.

Fibromyalgia....the dreaded silent disease.

I suffer from Fibromyalgia and myofacial pain.
My daughter got married this past weekend and the stress reminded me of this. It was a lovely wedding with many  wonderful pre-events and I adore the couple that got married. lol----still stress is part of it all.
And I know many people who suffer from this illness, called Fibromyalgia.
I really do not think anyone-who doesn't suffer, like we do, can really understand the impact this disease has on us.
It is one of the invisible diseases. You cannot see the suffering we do.
What you can and do see is the age it has added to my countenance. Cruel.
A doctor once told me: "If you wore a cast on your arm, people would show some sympathy, but they cannot see the pain you are in from this". When not in flare---you are as healthy-well almost--as anyone else.
I don't need sympathy. I detest pity. I hide-out at home when it is really bad---my version of the flu. Can't always do this. Like the wedding. Still, I had one of the most handsome men at the wedding to offer his arm for support-my Fiance'. A real keeper.
Fibro has periods called flare----that are exacerbated by stress.......poor diet choices---and excess weight.
The really terrible issue is being over-weight. If you take the recommended meds. you will be over-weight.
Steroids have  put as much as 40 pounds on me, in a (2 ) week period. Horrid.
So I would rather suffer the pain, than endure the weight.
Trying to lose this weight is horrid. Takes forever. Classic synthetic drug-nasty.
The pain medicine is worse. You feel drugged-out all the time. Coffee/caffeine heightens the pain.
Going the alternative route  for your drug relief is absolutely preferable. And will work--but there will be a time that only synthetic drugs can alleviate the pain......not often-thank goodness.....but will happen.
I was at home, convalescing from a nasty flare bout, 17 years ago,  and saw a program that helped me so tremendously......Dr. Andrew Weil---"Eight weeks to Optimum Healing". Did what he said.
He has products/skin care/ thru Origins now....love that place.
A diet change was so helpful. I felt crippled---but went out and walked-slowly....carefully.
There are resources--actually 7 million-if you Google it. Hard to choose.
What is really difficult----is what happens when you realize you are ill. You go to a doctor ( if you have insurance) who will send you on to another doctor. This went on for three years, for me, before I was finally diagnosed by a arthritis specialist.
I finally had to leave my job ( we were in a sick building that caused this or contributed greatly to it)
When I did, I had no support for this problem. Financial support. Emotional support. I went it alone.
As a matter of fact-Fibro was viewed as not being a valid concern. A fake disease manufactured for fat people who would not work. When I became ill..before the steroids---I had weighed 126lbs. for 20 years....I am 5'8" tall. You do the math. I began my career path at 14 years old.  Right.
You could say the advice I received from Andrew Weil's program, saved my life. Not quite that dramatic.
However, It helped me function enough to find methods for dealing with this very real and debilitating disease.
I would recommend that you do two things: right away:
Get counseling-go to group support sessions-try to get your family to go also-otherwise they cannot understand what is happening to you. Or offer the very real support you need from them.
Explain to all who asks: This disease has the same symptoms as MS. Was what I thought I had....
Stress is your enemy---will cause major pain----avoid it or meditate your way free from it.
Food choices are of utmost importance...will affect the pain.
Exercise---if it is slow walking---to become flexible.....Pilate's would help.
If you can afford Acupuncture, Deep Massage, Healing Touch, Chiropractic Care-----or you are lucky enough to have and maintain heath insurance------do this.
The Alliance for Integrated Medicine on Galbraith Road-----saved me from suffering alot of pain.
God Bless you! Don't let anyone make you feel small. Walk tall, even if you have to walk slow, to get there.

Help! S. O. S. When are they coming to help us?

What if, you were being attacked and called the police and they never came?
Or worse still, when they got there, they approved the attack against you?
Even weighed in and blamed you-dragged you off to a jail cell and worse?
Or, you were forced to live under the RULE of your own  Father, Brother, or Husband? Rule------you do everything they say or else.
Think very carefully about this------Your Brother-because he is MALE-is now is able to rule over you??????
Tell you what to wear-how to cut your hair-testify against you and have you stoned to death.....if he doesn't like you.
Puts a whole new perspective on family relationships.
Not happy with your marriage? If you are male-just have the "old ball and chain" stoned to death and get a new wife.
All perfectly legal !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And approved by the courts. The "all male" courts.
Oh, that cute dress you are wearing to prom? It has been replaced by an oppressively hot hood and cape----so all of your person has now disappeared under this black thing?
Don't you dare bitch-you will get a fat lip.
And the only way your male family members could feel powerful was to abuse and torment and torture you?
All in the name of religion......Hypocrites, all.
It reminds me of poor Anne Frank---without her country being occupied by, now her enemy---instead this is your damn family???????
We have heard about the "Arab Spring" and the wonderful "Muslim Brotherhood". They are the men mentioned above..........
Why am I writing this?
Because I read a book called: "A Thousand Splendid Suns". and it turned my tummy.
And it continues. and continues. and continues..............
We support some creepy and disgusting people in the name of politics.
We, meaning the USA. Our government has approved these people.
Women are being tormented to death and we need to help them.
If you can do nothing else---say a prayer to God that they may find freedom from this terrible evil.
Many only do so when they die.
God bless all the oppressed women in our world. ( yes, they are part of our planet)
And may God deal effectively with all the men who torment them.
I would not want to meet "my Maker" on these terms........really.
Hiding your evil behaviour behind religion is sick. No woman approves this. Lies from cowards.
They are in for a shock. 'Do unto other' takes on a whole new flavor.
Disgusting.....sad and pathetic.....a description of that criminal that is doing this.

The given puke-ie economy...

If I hear one more time that the economy is recovering----I promise to puke.
It really does depend on who is reporting the numbers:
Women employed.......Women unemployed.
Being in an election year......of course they will "Gild the Lily"......sad.
And I really abhor listening to the 1% defame the 1%. How very hypocritical.
For the rest of us:
What might actually  help is an organization for Women and Men-called S.C.O.R.E.
A non-profit set-up to actually assist business owners-beginning to-----I like to think "infinity and beyond"......lol
It actually provides  mentors, by email-online---or you can go into a local office. '
In these dark times alot of people are doing things they never dreamed of before.
And one of those things happens to be going into business for themselves.
Creating another link in the Small Business group of people who trying  to keep their heads above water.
Another way to promote your business is to go to networking meetings.
Most Chamber's of Commerce in every town provide these with the condition that you attend a couple of times and then join the Chamber.
This may or may not be the thing to promote your business.
Social media also is a channel for getting attention.
I have been asked to "like" alot of friends pages-set up to attract attention or business.
And I always do this. Hey, we gotta help each other out....
It's tuff out there. Right.

The day is young.....lighten up!

I sometimes wonder why we forget things?
It isn't age.....and there are some interesting-fun-financially beneficial things I have done-and can do again.
I simply forgot one of those.
 All about it.
I have come to the conclusion:
It is the attitude of certain people that give you an overall distaste for it.
Whatever 'it' may be.
This "it" for me  is market research and one of the companies that use to schedule had the most unpleasant people answering the phone.
I detest rude behaviour.......and totally dislike hostile people, who are having a bad day and want you to suffer with them. Grrrr.
When this person is a "gatekeeper" for a company----they are causing a loss of business for that company.
It is proven in retail business:
If someone has a bad experience---they rarely contact the corporate headquarters and complain.
Or even ask where that is?
They rarely contact the Store manager and complain.
They simply will not go back.
They boycott the store.....by telling their friends about the rotten experience.
Some people cut other people out of their life the same way.
She was this! or He did that!
Of course, there are some really, really  annoying people that you really never want to have to deal with again...sad, yet true.
Or run the other way when you see them coming......
Negative people experience this....alot, I should imagine.
But what if:
This person is a close family friend? Or a relative.
Does it not irk the living stuffins out of you to have to put up with someone, because, they are rotten to the core and Mom, Dad----fill in the blank--says you have to?
Why?
Let's face it--Friends are the family we choose.
Biological folks, sometimes become mortal enemies, and would never have chosen to even know that person, if not for being related.
Reminds me of the old Mafia movies---once in the family--only one way out.
Laughing....but, it was true?
I think it takes little time or effort to behave like a decent, pleasant  person.
Even if you are unhappy with your day.
Try smiling-----hard to be hostile with a smile planted on your face.
Not talking about psychopaths here.....not today. lol.

Happy Mother's Day to all!!!!!

Today is the day we honor our Mothers and enjoy praise for being a great one ourselves.
It is so lovely to be in the middle of preparations for a wonderful event and realize that you and your future in-law are totally in sync........in wanting the Kids to have a great time.
My daughter is lovely and she is the apple of my eye...yet she is also lucky to have found a mate...with such a great Mom..
Alot of people say how much they miss their Moms who have passed on and I think that would be a most natural reaction.
I think Moms are for eternity.
They watch over us from Heaven and they help us while we are here.
And if you happen to be one, a MOM on this planet----raising children in this difficult time and place is well, yes, quite difficult.
There are also people in our lives that take the place of a Mom..when that is necessary.
They may not be biological....but they are definite real life MOMS!
God Bless them above all.
They give of themselves and deserve the love they share  right back at them 200%.
Being the best you can be.....trying your best.....giving your all.....well, that is what it is all about.
So enjoy the day-this special day-set aside to honor the "best of the best"--our Moms.

Who is? Abbey Dosh........

This was the question I was asked this morning by my fiance'.
Well, I really thought he was listening when I told him the last 5 times?
And then yesterday, while reading an article in the April issue of Cosmo, I was a tad astonished.
It said that guys need for you to preface something with, like, say: "I really need you to hear this", for them to assimilate stuff you say.
 Then you tell them.
They are not mentally deficient---just don't filter/retain well.
When it comes to a fast moving, never stopping engineer's brain......times this by 100.
Maybe sit on his chest ( nah-he's a heart patient) and say--"Hey-are you cognizant of what I am saying? Can you hear me?"
Or draw a diagram.........yea, that will be his next Hallmark type offering.
With pointer attached-----THIS IS YOUR CARD!!!!!!!!!
I can't do it......and so, I guess this means we go thru life with people never hearing each other. Don't like that. Hmmmmm. Or we preface everything we say.
My blog is something I do for me and you.
Abbey Dosh is -Absolutely free stuff.-Info, etc.
I agree we need more of that.
Will get right on it and let you know.......smiles.

The Derby-as in Kentucky....

I look at pictures of folks, I know, that got to go to the Derby, and I admit, I am a tad jealous.
The weather was probably not all that terrible, and I would have to assume that you are so taken with your view and surroundings that it matters little when sipping that mint julep on the veranda. lol
I grew up on a horse farm in Union, Ky. and it was a splendid way to live.
As a child-carefree and fun-you could not beat it.
I always said, I use to smart off  actually, to my Brother-in-law, who has a permanent place there, it seems-they never miss ( ze Derby) , that I want to take a horse when I go.....
He won the...okay, it is escaping me----except the amount---$360. Sounded metric---like the something....something.....and then... $360.hahahahaha
I love horses, but I must admit, after riding a few times, I love them as in the abstract.....as in watching a race....and petting them after?
Fear of heights drives that pony.
When I have been to the racetrack...I won!
I watched the lineup-with binoculars---and looked the horseflesh over carefully---and bet accordingly---and I won!
Was not alot---but it paid for our trip there. Was eons ago.
It is exciting....and I did like it alot.
We should all do things we love and this would be one for me.
So, my goal is to go, next year.
We should all do many things-have a list-and follow thru.
Some are called dreams, and some day and weekend trips and some are life goals.
I hope all your dreams come true. Me too!

Yellow-boy....

I live on a Farm, in the country, with the wonderful man I have agreed to marry and two dogs and a cat.
All rescues........well, maybe not the fiance-I like to think he rescued me. lol.
One of these fabulous peeps ( my pets are my babies) is a sweet little kitten-cat we call Yellow-boy-Raja.
He is so sweet and loving-pulling at your heartstings constantly.
Poor little guy just showed up behind our shop one day.
He looked a little worse for wear......his coat was a tad ruffled.
But the love we have experienced with him is tremendous.
He has such a wonderful personality. A sweet little mousing scrapper.
He is my baby.
He is my lovee.
Mia-bear is my first love..he lives in Boston, now.
Everyone should experience having a cat.
Some people say they are too smelly-messy-dirty.
The Toolmaker I live with says: "there is a tool to solve every issue".
I hope everyone gets to have a Yellow-boy. Your life will so change for the better.

Timeline for your 911 call......and info.

Yesterday, here at the Farm, was an interesting, yet stressful day.
I had the experience of having to dial 911-and was told, please hold while I transfer you to the correct police department-in this case it was the Sheriff's Department.
Standing there, I  quickly came to the realization, that timing is everything.
If I had been in a far different set of circumstances-the outcome could have been vastly different.
This was about someone trespassing and being asked to "vacate these premises" and my doing so three separate times, while the nutter cussed me out.
I am so proud of having deported myself as the lady I am. I called the police.
Let them handle the really difficult cases.
Now, we live in a rural area.......way out in the country.... and for our distance from the actual County seat---we had a nice response time.
And I am sure-when speaking to the dispatcher, you are in a queue as to order of importance-really bad stuff-real bad stuff-us yesterday....
However, it did make me realize that some of the laws-I take as a given-are not.
Like in Pirates of the Caribbean-when the rotten pirate ( he was so awesome!)says-"More of a guideline, instead of a die-hard rule".Not quoting exactly-of course.
Point being---we need to get the scoop of what we can and can't do---YES, in our own home-on our own land, etc.
For example-if someone is outside destroying your lawn furniture-you are to go in-barricading yourself in your home---if they break in-and you are terrified for your life or personal safety-and shoot this person----you will still be arrested-possibly exonerated--still imagine how you would feel????
You should feel better than this is going to make you feel for having survived.
There is something distinctly wrong with this. Wouldn't you agree?
It is wise to talk to someone at your local police department to get the information you need.
Many-many home invasions occur everyday-in nice and poor districts-areas.
Stay safe and know your rights and responsibilities.
God Bless.

It is so beautiful in the Country.

Today, actually this morning-when I took our puppy ( okay, he is 2-kinda of like, he will always be a baby to me) outside for his morning constitutional....I looked up into the sky and WOW!
We live on a farm-(we don't actually farm the land-not yet-other things going on-however) it is a nice big expanse of land.
The sky feels like it is within reach-as tho I could reach out and touch it.
Today, for my pleasurable viewing-a combination of pinks and blues and yellows and whites, that almost took my breath away.
This is on one side and on the other-threatening clouds-of grey and dark blue and yes, even black.
How, you might wonder, in one sky? It is like a corner of the universe set up for my viewing.
Throw in trees and grass and plants----and there you have a marvelous picture of beauty.
Then add, the fresh air-breath it in-cool and fresh.
Take a drive into the country-you will be glad you enjoyed this zen experience.
Look in calender of events for happenings to get you out of the city.
Festivals-craft shows-and we live fairly close ( in the country this could be 50 miles round trip) to Miller's.
Miller's is a cool Amish place to visit.
Beautiful scenery and a bakery-furniture store-and a grocery store.
Often in the summer they also have an ongoing outdoor art show.
Fresh squeezed lemonade and kettle corn-a couple of nice yums while you are taking it all in.
A pleasant way to take a day in the country.
Get out and enjoy!

Fun weekends!

We all look for something to do on the weekends to have some relaxation and maybe just some quality family time.
We review, both online and by hard copy (newspaper and magazines)  for calendars of events.
  City Beat-The Enquirer-Cincinnati Magazine-to name a few.
And honestly, the city ( many different ones) offers up alot of interesting things to do.
In St. Martin-close to where I live-Chatfield College are having  a Quilt and Craft show.
It looks really cool-they, the college, have some neat-o things going on for everyone-and you do not have to be a student.
I convinced my significant other, to go to the Victory of Light Psychic Fair Expo.
I first went to the Fair, invited by the person who helps Victor Paruta ( founder of same) with details , Maria Meiners, about three years ago, and it has changed alot since that time. Evolved....
They both work really long hours to insure the success of this amazing event.
Held at the Sharonville Convention Center , it is put on twice a year.
Google-Victory of Light Psychic Fair.  A two day event.
I think it is a wonderful offering of free seminars, quality vendors, and quality people:
psychics, mediums, healing treatments-massage-reflexology-so much more...
A very energizing time spent on a weekend.
I found two of the most lovely mineral offerings. It is like finding treasure. haha.
I believe there were at least 10 jewelry vendors and 10 mineral/rock/crystals, etc. vendors. ( Maybe more)
We found a Pottery booth-with origins near where we live.
She will take orders from her home and it does take 6-8 weeks, but worth the wait.
Really pretty stuff / the colors were unique.
One lady states she goes to the Tucson gemstone show (Jewelry) and would find gemstones for me. IKES!!!!!! Awesome. (Def. got her card)!
One booth had Emeralds and Rubie's-rough cut stones in sterling silver----rings, for like $20. Holy cow!
One booth had a complete offering of Lapis. From different countries. WoW!
On the jewelry-prices range from very affordable to more expensive.
Walking by the loose stones, rocks and minerals-I just want to reach out and touch the large formations of crystals, etc. and chant-OOOOMMMMMnnn! LOL.
One of my favorite booths is Enchanted Moments from Milford, Ohio.
Really fun stuff.
I know alot of people are sceptical about how anyone can have a talent or gift that is so different from all they have ever known.
Well, you never know. The Fiance and I had a very enjoyable and relaxing time.
You should "Try it Mikey, you'll like it". lolololol. You just never know.

A different world......

We all have watched favorite series....some true to life...some sci-fi and fantastic...takes some imagination......and some, so very well done..that we are right there, every week, living it with them. lol.
I have ordered, from my local Library, and now watched,  the entire sci-fi series from 2002-Roswell.
(It was the banner at the kids Prom----2002- from the second season that reminded me the year this series was in production.)
I really love this. I remember watching it back when and thinking it could happen.
I will go you one a little more far-fetched...I think back when alternate civilizations were all developing at the same time-in different places on the planet----they actually got help-call it Angels ( and I do) or spacemen or spacewomen. (could have been)
For all we know-Angels just use their wings sometimes-sometimes they use their mind-and sometimes they ride in their craft........what do you think about that? (Them apples??????) Def. smiling.
What I really deplore...are the non-believers.
Find a dream.....have a dream...believe in a dream.
There are beings bigger-smarter-more powerful than we will ever be in this life.......take a step back and realize---you do not have to nay-say them to be considered intelligent or at the top of your field.
However, with that believing-called Faith by some-we too become powerful.
Not sure about bigger and smarter--but I feel it may be a given.....in the grand scheme of things.
For example----"meet my Angel----he is fearsomely amazing".
You gotta admit it is a cool prospect. And for some of us a reality.
No, they are not like performing beings.......for our amusement.
That may just be the problem....too-too many folks want to be amused.......won't and  doesn't quite  work that way.
Sorry.
Hmmmm. It does make for a different world tho, doesn't it? If you believe.

Nasty Is On-Woe are we. Got to ask questions.

Good grief.....
You cannot look at anything dealing with politics without wanting to yell-"Oh, Shut the Hell Up, Already".
And guessy what?  It hasn't even began yet. Whew!We are still so far from the election...for President.
I  Heard this morning that:
Mitt Romney's wife is a housewife and raised 5 boys-----singlehandedly ( Mitt was working) ...and yet one pundit states she has never worked a day in her life-----what an absolutely idiotic thing to say-and it was a woman that said it.
I say give Mrs. Romney a medal!Feet up and a nice treat.
Even many houses and several mil. in the bank isn't over--compensation for raising (5) boys!

I have had the misfortune of  listening  to the ranting-yelling and absolute hate and ignorant filled "stylings" of the honorable reverend Louis Farrakhan.....and I have to say....How does somebody like this get where they are and more importantly, WHY????? is anyone listening to this stuff?
I didn't do it on purpose-was a fluke...and I turned it off asa I could...Louis has given me the hives for many years. Just Don't like people who yell.

Did you hear?  the Black Panther's are in deep do-do---if someone actually does his job:
Supposedly, they put out , on the guy down in Florida-a hit-for $10 grand----and no one is doing anything about it. WHY????????
No secret about it----they made their offer very public, as in invited the public to do the awful deed.
The man who shot and killed Trayvon Martin. Contract on him-the shooter/killer/now defendant.
Vigilante style street justice from the "Panthers". Sad case about the young man-portrayed as a boy.
Actually, what is this? Attempted conspiracy to solicit murder? Not sure?
How would the killer be paid-via Paypal? Money in a bag, left somewhere? Or an open transaction, on live TV?

And......shocking as it seems---they haven't even been charged......why not??????Erhmmm, Mr Holder? are you listening?
He ( Eric) seems to have  a few problems himself and may just be a bit diverted at the moment......
Fast and Furious. And it seems there were previous issues  ignored with 'de ol Panthers.
Eric's not really paying close attention, I guess. Just the lads, playing around. Right.

We are not doing so well here in the good 'ole USA. What we have happening is scary.
Maybe-just maybe, a change would be a very good thing.
Politics are very-very important right now........look closely at all the things going on-and for Everyone's sake-don't buy the B/S you hear in the common media outlets....those peeps are bought and paid for.
Journalism seems to be /is dead. Or afraid to lift it's head. Panther's may just put a "hit" on "it"?
Entertainment as factual news, is in. Woe are we.

A real two-edged sword-vicious circle...

I have been listening to alot of political and non-political information-feeding in from various news sources and I am astonished.
I hear people who are /have been  participating in Occupy Wall Street and have to shake my head in total disbelief.
They want-want-want----and they expect a wealthy faction to give-give-give.......and I have a give-GET A FRIGGIN CLUE.
No one is going to fund you---beyond your time in the park.
The government doesn't have enough money to pay their own bills----without putting our country in total debt.
We are so far behind....we will not be caught up anytime-YEARS-soon--without a total change in our current government spending habits.
Occcupy Wall Street is simply adding to local government spending.
Whichever park they are sleeping-out in.
I understand the premise--it isn't working.
I worked for 5 years in a local government job-and it was  primarily dealing with Welfare cases-brought to court for Child Support issues.
You have there:
People having their abode-food-medical-----being paid for by the government.
And guess what?
They hated it. Once it happened-it was very difficult to get out from under the government paying your bills..to be able to manage on your own.
Child care costs alone prohibits it. They could not afford it..to be able to go to school-to get a job.
To do anything.
This is what Socialism looks like. Welfare. The government tells you what to do-hands out what you get.....and prevents you from advancing.
And that 1%-they are not gonna stick around and pay you anything. Get real. You are smarter than that. Aren't you???????

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter and may God Bless us all.
Actually, he already has.
Amid the egg gathering and candy and stuffed animal pets in our Easter baskets.....we really have the best gift of all.
Everlasting life. That's right---Eternity in Heaven.
It is available to everyone......who so chooses to believe.
That Jesus died on the cross for us and then: "He is Risen".
I hope everyone has a lovely day today with your family and friends.
The weather, while a little windy, is still sunny and beautiful skies are everywhere.
I like to take a moment and say a special prayer of thanks, to God for all he has done for us.
Looking at the beautiful flowers and skies that surround us.....I know how amazing the artist, that created it all, is.
And I look forward to meeting him one day.
Happy Easter! I Hope yours is lovely!

The Supreme Court of the United States.

God Bless the Supreme Court of the United States of America.
Their decisions are not always popular.
But it doesn't matter-they are not there to be popular.
They are suppose to be "above all that".
What does matter, is that they, stand for something, VERY-VERY important in our country.
They are the last bastion of freedom for US.
Our freedom to be heard above the maddening den.
You may not like them.
You may be afraid you will not receive the decision you came for.
You DO NOT, however:
bash them in the national media
criticise them in the national media
and whine to the national media....while your case is being decided, by the highest court in the land, because you are afraid you will not receive the decision you came for.
It would appear unethical. I think it is unethical.
It would appear that you were trying to influence a decision......ut oh.
It would be total BAD FORM. ( as in not having the  ability to maintain a sense of dignity)
Not many people would attempt this.
Not many people would have the ear of the media, to do this. Or would abuse their own  power that way.
Not any people would be that  arrogant.
Many cases come before the court.
The Justices  have a very difficult job to do.
It is a thank-less job.
Someone will always lose with them.
The have to be able to ignore opinion and do their job. A VERY-VERY difficult job.
I think that they are the real Superstars in our country.
God Bless the Supreme Court of the United States of America.

Just eat half the donut.

When I was in my late 30's I left a job that had created an illness. I was in what is termed a "sick building".
What this essentially meant was:
They were carrying people out of it-that had worked there-with strokes, etc. So they closed it asap.
They closed the building-moving everyone out-14 floors-and gutted it and a class action lawsuit was filed against the owners-which they paid, for the illnesses that occurred to the people who had worked there .
I had been there about 4 years-and I got sick.
This was really awful-because, I had a good job. I had to leave it.
It took (3) years for doctors and specialists to determine my "illness".
The class action suit had already been settled. Right.
An Attorney later told me I should never had joined the class action suit.
So I tried to continue working.
I got a job-and within a year- I had recurring strep and it was determined at 30 something, my old tonsils had to go.
When I left the building-I was a reformed smoker.....I had quit.
I gained like 40 lbs. This is pretty typical weight gain for someone who quits smoking.
Add, that due to illness, I was put on steroids to try and regain my health.
When my tonsils were removed-I could not swallow solid food for a month. I could manage liquids only.
 I lost 40 lbs. lol.
When I went back to the surgeon for my check-up, without knowing any of my history or why I was fatter before, he looked at me and said:
"You have lost alot of weight. You look great. Maybe when you eat-eat 1/2 what you were eating before. Instead of a whole donut-eat 1/2. See"?
I never told him that due to being ill, I had been put on steroids, to try to keep me from being bed -ridden with the now illness, that the sick building had created. Twice. Twice on steroids. Prescribed.
I just smiled and repeated back to him the sentence, like a good patient.
"Instead of a whole donut-eat 1/2. I get it Doc".
Un-huh. People, even Doctors, can assume too much, and make an ass out of them and you.
lolololololololol.
But do you know what? If you eat 1/2 of all the food ( donuts aside)  you eat-you will lose weight. We do eat too much.
When eating out at restaurants, they give us way too much food in a serving.
My Daughter and I order one serving and split it-Always, when eating out.
Try it......weight gain and losing it can be a real struggle.
Good luck......be healthy. Live long and prosper. I mean it.

Is it done yet?

They say patience is a virtue...and I have to say that if you had asked me a year ago, I would have said, "I really couldn't say".
(Alot of says...lol)

It reminds me of the child constantly asking, "Is it done yet"?

The fact is, if  "It" is done ( title) then everything gets much better. This applies to everything.

I live with an engineer ( my Fiance)  and his partner ( another brilliant engineer) that works in his shop with him-for like 14 hours a day, on a project that has taken over a year.

For me, I  am not an engineer and have been here the whole time-it is similar in watching a pregnancy.
And like waiting for the baby to be born.

I am the A-type of personality waiting to launch and sell, said product.....to a waiting market.

We actually have participated in shows for this industry-where we are gradually testing the response to our product  and have had people come up to our booth and ask for many -- asa they are finished. A waiting list---emails of people anxious to have one.

They ( the engineers)  are prototyping a very cool product for the Conceal Carry Industry-our own( product) ...(I, too, am a partner, along with two other very amazing people---making it a total of five).

It has remarkable features-unseen to date-by anyone in this field.

And I assure you-we, the non-engineers ( partners) involved-are on the edge of our seats..waiting.

So, patience has become necessary-as each detail is designed-made-and re-designed....goes on and on....until perfection is achieved.

However, Everything is better when it is done. Trust me on this.

Who will pay? Trust me, it does matter.

I am listening and reading so much about what is going on with the current Health Care issue before the Supreme Court, dubbed Obamacare. Why is there such a fuss?
Because alot of money and power is at stake.
What are the benefits?
What are the problems?
That's what the highest court in the land will determine-give their attention and answer to.
Who will pay? What will they pay?
Well, you can, after the decision is made----go on their web-site and read all about the pros and cons.
Google: Supreme Court of the United States.
It is an interesting view-----the Biographies of the Justices will keep you busy, also.
It will be  a major factor of our future life in these great United States.Their decisions always are.
So well worth keeping apprised of the issue at hand.
We need to do this on every level. Pay close attention.
Ask our own Congress members about the issues that matter to us.Find out who that is??maybe??
Go to their web-site. Be aware of what they are doing?::::: house.gov
Whitehouse.gov is a cool read also.
DO NOT listen, for important information-that will affect your future life--to a pundit-pontificating blowhard-provocateur-or an entertainer.
They all have their own agenda.....Think for yourself....read and do your own due diligence.
And do not let others make you feel guilty for your feelings and beliefs..........EVER.
American lives have been lost-so that you may be free to choose.
Believe in yourself. God Bless us all.
From the great to the small...oh wait.....no one is, small, that is. We ALL matter.

A real treat! Check out your local Library.

I want to post a notice to people that it is so easy to find and order movies-dvds-and books at your local
Library----absolutely FREE.

It is really awesome to be able to go and use their computers, also....if you are having a glitch with yours.

You can fill out and receive your Library card right away, usually. Or get a temporary one to use for that day.

I go online to see what the most recent book is, that a favorite author has written, or an old movie I would love to see again, and then go online and request it from the Library.

Sometimes there is a wait ( other people have requested the title----- book-dvd-movie ahead of you doing so)-and pleasantly enough, sometimes not.

And you can have all ordered titles sent to whatever branch is closest to you.
I go to three different branches ( locations) , and also pretty much go online and request new titles-re-new movies and books and explore what is available.

The Library also has some really intriguing offerings as well.
Myself and a friend, attended a "meet the author" night, for a man who wrote about prominent murder mysteries in Cincinnati.
Both unsolved and really gruesome.

We got some interesting facts about Cincinnati and other crimes ( possibly related to)  that had been happening during the period in which some of the murders had occurred.

So check out your local Library. You will be glad you did.
Do bear in mind that fines are imposed on items returned late or lost.
If you find yourself in a pinch for time---call and ask for help.
I think they should sell coffee-have a cafe.....would bring in alot of money. Libraries do rely on funding...and the generosity of patrons.
I, unfortunately, have felt that I am one of the biggest supporters, financially, having  paid many fines and paying for  lost items-however, it is still  not as expensive as buying or renting items.

So enjoy!

Perspective and why? "It is" so important.

We all have moments where we loose it.
If not, you just are not doing it right.
Kidding.
I love to say outrageous stuff, as long as I do not hurt other's feelings.

I grew up in a large-by any standards-family. 12 kids......and we were all so individual. No clones, us.
And we had some unusual specimens-to say they worked outside the box-would be an understatement of fact.
They, my sibs, would tell you this was me. lol.
We were well cared for by our parents. Over-protected, you might say.
And loved and disciplined and taken to church.
And taught to feel grateful and blessed for our life.

Today, On Facebook, I read an article and then, I shared it.
A little boy carrying a gigantic jug-going for water.
And the burden put on this child, brings tears to my eyes.
The article was intended to make us think, indeed, feel. And it worked.

We, all the readers of said article and many like them, respond to whatever the author writes or displays-
Nicholas---from the New York Times.

I said that alot of people in the USA have similar fates-poor ravaged areas of poverty---children and pets suffer most when times are hard.

We do not have a continual and desperate sense of loss due to war or war-ing factions.
War has only found a home here in NY. one time.
And blood has and will be shed for that deed, many times over.

The taxpayers provide through the government services to help the poor.
As do, American churches and charities.

I commented on the President, in these tough economic times, allowing his 13 year old Daughter-to take a trip-to Mexico-with 25 Secret Service agents to protect her.
Paid for by the American taxpayer.

And the truth is, there are families that have more, much more,  than this type of wealth and exhibit it all the time.

Hollywood........California........yepper.
And we pay for that, too. Voluntarily.
By buying that movie ticket or dvd or a favorite cd or book or poster or piece of art or jewelry or magazine.

If we were not paying for gas at almost $4.00 a gallon and watching the rest of the world suffer-famine and disease...maybe that trip to Mexico would be put into perspective-a young lady enjoying the perks of being one of the most famous persons ( Mom and Dad's ) child.

I just don't know. What about you?

Cool Stuff......gotta have it.

I have a friend, who always posts the coolest stuff, on Facebook. She is pretty cool herself.
Today she got-free-a cake, from a place called Great Spirit Baking Company ( she posted a picture of the box) ...a neat mini Bundt cake for two-Mocha Double Chocolate Chunk-with Patron XO Cafe Tequila Coffee Liqueur---I mean it made me go to their web-site-( google-d ) and wow!
Really-really hating the diet thing-ie right now-but will be keeping this on favorites.....I mean it.
I Will re-visit this later. Oh yeah.......count on it.
This is one of many-many neato things she shares.
I join almost everything. It is Free!!!!!!
One is:
Alice.com---an online company that delivers  to your door, by mail-dry goods-complete with coupons  and savings.
Also, on Facebook-if you "like" some of the companies-or join their e-mail list-----you get offers and savings and samples.
One place that does this is:
Aveda......there is one at the  Kenwood Towne Center. I like to just go into this shop and inhale. lol.
Another is L'OCCITANE-I get samples of new products mailed to me all the time, or well, as often as they get new products in the store.
A  French product line-from Provence......a wittle bit of Heaven.
I have mentioned Sephora before----great sales people, too. Very helpful.
And, if I have not said:
Nordstroms allows you to sample-as in take one home-of any product-perfumes-cosmetics-etc.
I joined a cool company called, "It Works" and I did so, after viewing their stuff, by a blip, placed by a friend, on Facebook.
Body Wraps--that work, mind you----minus 4 inches on the old tummy and counting-that would be me.
I will keep sharing fun and cool places that I find, or am made aware of.......Enjoy!

Happy-happy......ever after???????at least while you are here.

I was at a business meeting and had a woman strike up a conversation about illness.
She had Lupus...had been diagnosed early in life, as a young woman. She is in her 50's now.
She wondered what would help with muscle cramps?
I told her-calcium-magnesium---with a fat-starter-like vitamin E or cottage cheese.
I favor---in every possible instance-using Holistic methods for treatment of any ill.
Is it a fact-that over time- an organ will be destroyed by continual usage of pharmaceutical drugs?
Seems like. What quality of life/health does that provide?
Read the warnings.........the Company producing the drug-gives you...
I was in a sick building in my 30's. I was told I needed a mood elevating drug-it would help elevate pain-very real pain-from my condition.
( Raise my endorphins......to help ease pain.....well guess what else does that?????Laughter......Love.....and a natural product called 5HTP).
After reading all the warnings..for the mood elevating drug....I came to the conclusion that if I had even one side effect listed, I would be in more pain than I was already in.
A very bad thing. So, I looked for a healthy alternative---and low and behold-found it-without the side effects----how, you ask?
Because, it was a natural product. 5HTP
Alot has been said about the safety-strength-etc. of natural products.
And  No FDA approval, in many instances.....
And I will counter with----Find a good-great quality Holistic practitioner---and see what can be achieved for your life-continued good health-----great health....and without the scary side effects of drugs.
After all-all medicines fall in the category of DRUGS. Says it all, doesn't it.

Whoops se doodle!

I have to say....I look at some of the stupid stuff that is going on in the name of politics and I just want to hurl.

Try to remember----two of the only reasons some people (name withheld to protect the innocent-right) hold or want to hold public office is : ta...da: POWER and MONEY!!!!!

And some of the Evil stuff-corrupt-that is done to obtain votes is just sick!!!!!
And, it is EVIL!

And we are seeing stuff-that doesn't matter come up as tho it were AMAZING fodder for the mill----when all of the truly IMPORTANT stuff is being swept aside in it's wake.

Guess what? Time to wake up!

Gas prices are too high!

The constitution doesn't need to be deleted or re-written.

If you were elected to  serve this country-----SERVE THIS COUNTRY----not the one you want it to be. You were not elected to fool people until you got in office and then you are going to re-vamp.......NO!

The American taxpayer doesn't want to bankroll your vacay. We are struggling to feed ourselves and pay for the high gas prices....

This is so sad.....and will not fly for very long.....

Just Sad...........

Scary and makes you wonder?

Okay, I want to talk about "Talk Radio".

Politically driven talk, with hosts like, Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh.
Conspiracy theory......to the max. Could scare you to death if you believed one half of what they say.

Mr. Rush is getting a ton of negative backlash for calling a Young woman a 'slut' on his program.

He later apologized-however, he should never have said it 'on air' to begin with.
And I wonder if she will sue him or if they have reached an agreement? Or no? hmmmm.
 I would have sued him.

I will not, for this exercise say whether I like or dislike anyone mentioned, however, I will say I Do NOT like men who call women names, because they disagree with them.
Or do not have control of themselves ( it is called decorum) enough to behave.

Maybe?  this is because the same men are constantly being called names, for their "performance", by other people, all the time.
Then they lose perspective?

According to "Glenn Beck", the end of the world as we know it, is an imperative that we cannot waylay without much pandemonium or the election of a new president.

Now, I DO NOT like high gas prices and I DO BELIEVE that the government DOES have something to do with that.

And if gas prices get lowered before the presidential election this year-----I will feel my belief confirmed.....and will not believe gas prices will not go right back up-even higher-after the election, if the current president is re-elected.
Some things are just common sense.

Let them eat oil......this is in reference to OPEC-----or pay us the equivalent of the cost of a barrel of oil for a bleeding soybean. I do mean this.
The American people do not deserve to suffer ( yes, some families do) to pay for gasoline.
And all this time. It is utter nonsense.

Everyone is asking: are you better off than before Obama took office---and the answer is NO.
Are  all of the ills assaulting us his fault? NO!
Do you believe he can pull us out of this mess? I don't know.
I wish he would get on with it-if so.

I will tell you a story.
I do not like the royal family in England. Never have.
I feel they have an unbelievable advantage over their own people and many people.
 It is just wrong.
Money and power....and they spend so much money just taking turns around doing their entertainment spots----Feed somebody for God's sake.
Stay home in your f--ing palace and let the servants wait on you and send the money to a food bank for God's sake or for the sake of the poor people in your country.
But-it is true that some peeps would be so upset if they could not see their Queen.
And the entertainment business would take a hit---what is it-"The Tattler"?
I look at people starving in Africa and just cringe. Truly, I do.

So, when I hear about the First Lady of the USA taking vacay after vacay and using Air Force One to do them......I cringe. If this is true????????
We are in terrible trouble here.....in our country...and I do not need the media entertainers to tell me that.
I simply need to look around to know that the "B/S and smoke" you are seeing produced by the media, who feel the first family can do no wrong, is misleading.

What is the answer??
Do your own due diligence.....listen to what you are hearing.....and then use the God-given intelligence you have to decipher--
Can a family who have an income of 'x' amount of money----take that many vacays?
I mean it cost so many mils. every time Air force one takes off..... or is that true?

And we are billions-trillions-gazillions in federal $$$$$ behind. SHUDDER!

And we cannot take a vacay, to drive anywhere, because of the high gas prices.....SHUDDER.

And it is all the banks fault. Nah......they do have alot to answer for...THEY DO! this is not it.

And if you say: Solyndra-Fast and Furious---NO ONE other than a Talk Radio 'listener' knows what the heck you are talking about??? Why?

The Obama's are not perfect. And their actions are not sacrosanct.
Still, I would love to zoom around the World living it up-while the rest of the country "eats cake", huh?

Maybe I am just jealous? Nah.......I like to believe I would feed some starving folks.....

Oh, back to the Royalty in England----during WWII bombs were being rained down on London and the surrounding area and alot of folks sent their children out into the country to stay with strangers, fearing for their safety.....and guess what?
The King, Queen, and two young Princesses stayed with their loyal subjects.....while the bombs rained down.
So......... maybe the Queen feels she has put in her time??? Just a thought. Need I say more?
